  3. Best Shakshuka in Israel

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Israel. Even if it wasn’t right on the marina and next to the water, I would still love it. I bring as many people as I can to this restaurant to share the joy I get here.

#1 The meat shakshuka is seriously amazing! They will make it as spicy as you like. Unlike many places I have tried (and I have tried a lot of shakshukas), this place never under cooks or over cooks the eggs. I love my shakshuka spicy, and they deliver on that as well. They serve the shakshuka was frena bread that is fresh and delicious. The portion size is large and the price is reasonable

#2 – The falafel! Yum. I love green falafel (nothing against the red, but green is my team). This falafel is fresh (fried up right when you order), pareve (they have a separate frier for the schnitzel), delicious (tastes homemade), and only 1 ILS per ball. It’s worthwhile to add a few to any order.

#3 – The chips. I don’t know why, but the chips here are also really excellent. Thin fries that are always cooked to perfection, crunchy without being burnt.

I’ve brought lots of American visitors here and they have all loved it. The owner is friendly and always around. He’s the main cook and sometimes he’s even the waiter.
