Located on Zephania Square in the heart of Ashkelon, Nobi has become my default place for felafel and shwarma. Because of a high volume of sales – they ALWAYS seem to be busy – food is always fresh. Felafel is not the big seller here, so you’ll always get it straight from the fryer. You’ll usually find three choices of meat for shwarma. Different skewer meats and shnitzel are also on offer, but I haven’t tried them. Choices of salads and pickles are about the most generous around.

Pros

Great food of consistent quality, and fast service. Convenient location on Zephania Square in Afridar, with closed-in, air conditioned dining, or takeaway. Usually plenty of parking within a block.

Cons

Not the cheapest felafel and shwarma in town, although for me, worth it.
